My name is Teresa and I live in the tiny village of Simotata, on the beautiful island of Kefalonia in western Greece .. made famous by the move Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.
After 2 Covid lockdowns I decided to test my creative skills and started making natural soaps. With plenty of olive oil left over from our olive trees, it seemed only normal to put it to good use.
I have loved learning all the many ways of making soaps using the cold process method and I am so lucky to be able to personally try all of the different shapes, colours and aromas. I also include local the family’s honey and goat’s milk in some of my recipes along with greek sea salt and botanicals to create a unique and luxurious experience.
If you have never tried hand made soap before, give yourself a little treat … and support a small business in the process. I promise you will never look at store brand soaps the same again.
